On Sunday, 22nd March, the BVA delivered a webinar to issue advice to the profession as a whole on how to deal with the developing situation of Covid-19.
The webinar, delivered by BVA president, Daniella Dos Santos broke an all-time record of webinar attendance for The Webinar Vet, with the webinar capacity maxing out at 3,000. Since then, the recording has been watched a further 4,500 times.
The webinar covered the next steps the veterinary profession should take including cancelling all non-essential work, arranging video or telephone triage, working from home and supporting other local practices where possible. You can catch up on the recording here
We had fantastic feedback from the community across the board:
Grateful for vets like @BritishVets President @VetDannii providing clear and strong leadership to all in difficult times. If anyone hasn’t watched @thewebinarvet seminar yet on #COVIDー19 please do! Informative, engaging, essential #InThisTogether

Thank you so much for this – it was clear and succinct. The profession and each practice need strong leadership through times like this and it is reassuring to have this from the BVA.
