Our good news this week starts with the story of the announcement of a very exciting new arrival – the birth of an endangered pygmy hippo at San Diago Zoo [link]
While we’re on the topic of endangered animals, critically endangered Hainan gibbons have returned from the brink of extinction, thanks to a Hong Kong group’s conservation efforts [link] and wild white storks have hatched in the UK for the first time in hundreds of years thanks to a breeding project in West Sussex [link]
Finally, a woman who has helped over 20 families find their lost children after her own child was kidnapped 32 years ago, has finally been reunited with her son [link]
