This year with Virtual Congress 2021, we’re making sure that we’re creating a space which emphasises mental health. The veterinary industry is one of the most stressful ones out there, and part of that is because of our strive for perfection. While you’re watching these webinars, make sure that you take some time to take a break and breathe between webinars. You have access to these webinars for 12 months afterwards, so you can space out your watching as much as you need! Below are some of our well-being and mindfulness webinars featured in Virtual Congress 2021…

Embracing the uncertainty: Why you should feel excited by your unpredictable profession. On the Wikivets Students Stream, on February 27th, 11.30am, you’ll be able to find Jon Wray presenting this webinar.  Here’s the event page if you want to check it out!

We’re all human, and why that’s much more than we think sounds like it’s going to be a really interesting presentation. Holding her cards close to her chest. Katie Ford hasn’t given us much more detail than the title, but it’s certainly got me thinking! This webinar is going to be accessible from February the 27th, on demand. You can find the event page here!

Finding calm in moments of chaos will be another on-demand webinar going live on the 27th of February. Meg Halewood presents this crucial webinar and I’ll be tuning in to find out how to discover my calm in those times in the clinic when everything seems like it’s just a bit too much. You can join the webinar here and join in at any point over the next year.

Lockdown locomotion! is another of our mindfulness webinars going live on the 27th. Presented by VetFit, it gives you a nice 30 minute break to get your blood flowing. Tune in between webinars, or after your webinar binge for the day in order to get yourself refreshed for the next one! You can tune into the webinar here.

We’re looking forward to seeing you over the week of CPD and mindfulness in late February. You can find out more information on Virtual Congress right here at the website.
