How to Become a Vet GDP Adviser
1️. Check Your Eligibility
You must be an MRCVS-registered vet with at least three years of post-graduate clinical experience.
You should work in a practice where you can offer direct support to a graduate vet.
2️. Complete the Free (15 hour) Vet GDP Adviser Training from RCVS which provides online training to help you become an effective mentor. You’ll learn about:
Coaching and communication techniques.
Constructive feedback methods.
The Vet GDP framework and how to guide graduates through it.
3️. Register as a Vet GDP Adviser: Once your training is complete, you can sign up with the RCVS and start mentoring!
