Bio

Erik Wouters graduated from Utrecht University in 2006 and completed his ECVS residency there. He has since then, led the development of two referral clinics at AniCura, where he currently serves as a surgeon and proud leader of the AniCura MIG Surgery & Orthopaedics team. A passionate educator, Erik has successfully mentored two colleagues to ECVS Diplomate status, with a third in training.

Dr Wouters is an active speaker at international conferences, author of several scientific publications, and contributed a key chapter on skin tumour surgery in Veterinary Surgical Oncology.

Outside of work, Erik enjoys time with his family and their pets, Mila the dog and Evi the cat.
