Jane Darcy has worked at the Fethard Equine Laboratory, Co. Tipperary since 2019, currently holding the position of Research Lead. Jane has previously held positions at the Irish Equine Centre for over 13 years with experience in both microscopy & PCR lab. Jane has completed research on antibiotic resistance and co-published in "Emerging Infectious Diseases," as well as presenting at various conferences. She holds a degree in Equine Science from the University of Limerick and a Master by research focused on "Antibiotic resistance in virulent strains of Rhodococcus equi in the Irish equine population" completed in 2020.
